The Livable Wage Network for AMFTs, ACSWs & APCCs was born out of a simple truth: associates are the backbone of California’s mental health workforce, and we deserve fair, legal, and livable wages for the essential work we do.

Every day, associates sustain the therapy load that private practice revenue depends on and serve communities on the frontlines. Yet many of us continue to face widespread underpayment and wage violations. This network exists to make those realities visible and to support associates in using the tools available to protect their rights.

This is not a membership club. We don’t have tiers or paywalls. We’re not interested in token seats at someone else’s table. And we’re not waiting for permission to speak the truth about the conditions we work in.

Instead, we are building collective associate power through education, transparency, and advocacy. We’re building our own table. And we’re inviting every associate in California to join us.
